SEATTLE, Wash.-- In Day 2 of the Husky Invitational, the Pilots fell in two competitive beach volleyball matches. 

In the Pilot's first match against University of Washington, the Portland's 3s duo of Grace Zilbert and Brodie Baker were able to force a third set, but ultimately came up short of winning the match. 

In the second match against University of Oregon it came down to a single set for the victory. The Pilots 3s duo swept the Ducks, while Portland's 5s duo of Sophie Lee and Keilani Mumolo were able to force a third set and take the victory over Oregon's pair. Both the Pilots 1s and 4s duos forced a third set but ultimately both pairs succumbed to Oregon's pressure.
