LIBERTY, Ore. -- Pilots Men's Cross Country remain undefeated for the 2023 season, winning the Oak Knoll Loop Run with 21 points. The Pilots next closest competitor was Corban University who finished second with 49 points.
The Portland men were led by Lakelin Conrad, a senior from Wichita, Kan., who finished second overall in a personal best time of 25:08. Conrad was followed closely by several Pilots including Brady Martisus (Fifth, 25:17.3), Connor Kennedy (Seventh, 25:31.5), Evan DeLaCruz (Eighth, 25:33.7) and Steven Durr (10th, 25:37.2) to round out the scoring five. Steven Durr and Xander Penaflor also came away with PRs for the 8k distance.
The Pilots will be racing in two separate meets next week, including the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn. and the Bill Dellinger Invitational in Eugene, Ore. Both events will take place on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023. For more coverage and info, visit PortlandPilots.com.
