Springfield, Ore. -- Portland Pilot Men's Cross Country finishes sixth overall at the Bill Dellinger Invitational, led by Nate Lantz who finished 11th overall in a PR of 24:07.6.
With the Pilots splitting their squad between the Roy Griak Invitational and the Bill Dellinger Invitational, Portland relied on a combination of young talent, newcomers and returners to represent the Pilots in Springfield. Following Lantz's PR of 24:07.6, was four more Pilots that also earned personal bests on the day. Isaac McGill finished second for the Pilots, completing his first 8k as a Pilot in 24:13.2 to finish 19th. McGill was followed by Cohen Williams in 52nd in 24:48.5, then Pedro Vazquez in a PR of 24:57.7 for 64th, and finally Lakelin Conrad in 65th with a time of 24:58.0 to slash ten more seconds off his best from the Oak Knoll Loop Run.
Other Pilots that competed on the day included Aidan Fitzgerald who ran his first 8k as a Pilot in 25:22.5, earning himself a PR. Paul Law also finished the day off in 26:06.9. Full results will be posted below.
