SALEM, Ore. -- Portland Pilots Men's Cross Country finished fifth overall at the 48th Annual Charles Bowles Invitational, finishing with 124 points. 

 

The Pilots were led in scoring by Cohen Williams who ran a significant personal best of 24:25.0 to lead the Pilots to their first place finish. Williams' time also cut 11 seconds off of his previous best. Following Williams was Pedro Vazquez in 29th (25:12.5), Brady Martisus in 36th (25:15.5), Connor Kennedy in 38th (25:18.4) and Kevin Andrews in 40th (25:21.7) to complete the Pilots' scoring members. 

 

A total of seven pilots earned personal bests on the day, including the Pilots' lead scorer, Cohen Williams. Other Pilots to earn PRs were Connor Kennedy, Kevin Andrews, Steven Durr, Nico Grillo, Xander Penaflor and Luke Knoblich.
