Box Score SPOKANE, Wash. – The Portland men's tennis doubles team Cade Fernando and Tannor Binder won the White Doubles Draw to highlight the conclusion of the Gonzaga Invitational Sunday at the Stevens Center. The duo defeated Montana's Johnny Wilkinson and Duncan McCall in the finals by an 8-4 margin.

In singles, Binder bounced back from an opening round loss to win a pair of consolation matches against
Seattles Yu Han Hsieh and Eastern Washington's Thomas Brady in straight sets.

Portland freshman Lucas Kimelman reached the semifinals of the top flight Blue Draw win a pair of three set wins against Kai-Luca Ampaw of host Gonzaga and Dmitry Bezborodov of Montana State, but fell to Boise State's Idriss Haddouch in the semifinals.

Overall the Pilots finished 6-5 in singles and 4-2 in doubles at the event.

The fall season has now concluded and the Pilots will prepare for the upcoming Spring dual team season next.
