THIS WEEK
• The Pilots will host the Southern Oregon Raiders for their first series of home matches.
• Portland is set for two matches at the Tom and Meg Names Family Foundation Beach Volleyball Court. The first match is on Feb. 28 at 2 p.m, followed by the second match at 10 a.m the next day.
• Live stats will be available on PortlandPilots.com.
 
LAST WEEK
Portland Pilots Beach Volleyball opened season on Friday with three matches at the Corban Invitational. Pilots came up short against the Corban Warriors 2-3, while falling 0-5 to the Oregon Ducks and Sacramento State Hornets.
 
ABOUT THE PILOTS
• Dylan Hamilton steps into his second year as the lead coach of the beach volleyball program, with Pilot graduate Kili Robins returning to the Bluff to serve as the assistant coach. Joining the program is Callie Weber, volunteer assistant coach.
• The Pilots return eight from last year's roster: Michela Strati, Valerie Bruk, Jordan Bardouche, Elena Bullemer, Taylor Helle, Elin Larsson, Annika Stammberger and Leonie Freytag.
• The beach volleyball program welcomes four new transfers to their roster including Emily Wood, Elizabeth Ortiz, Melissa Cormack and Hannah Debban.
• Valerie Bruk, Elena Bullemer, Elin Larsson and Leonie Freytag are returning from the Pilot's indoor roster.
• Pilots finished 2024 season with a 11-13 record.
 
ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
Southern Oregon is currently ranked No. 8 in the NAIA. The Raiders currently has a 1-3 record.
