Box Score PORTLAND, Ore – Portland completed a 7-0 sweep of the Weber State Wildcats in non-conference women's tennis action Saturday at Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center. It is the fourth consecutive win for the Pilots (4-3), while the Wildcats drop to 0-11 on the season.

Portland secured the doubles point with comfortable wins at the top two positions. Sally Pethybridge and Alaia Rubio Perez knocked off Sydney Schnell and Jessica Hill 6-1 at No. 1 and then Aleksandra Dimitrijevic and Nadine Arbaizar Martinez clinched with a 6-1 win versus Cindy Li and Savannah Johnson at No. 2.

The Pilots then dominated singles with straight sets wins at the top five positions and a walkover at No. 6 singles to complete the sweep.

Pethybridge defeated Schnell 6-2, 6-1 at the top of the order and then Rubio Perez posted a 6-1, 6-1 win against Li at No. 2. Dimitrijevic was a 6-4, 7-5 winner against Hill at No. 3.

Freshman Isabella Marquart recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4 over Alicia Morales and then Arbaizar Martinez completed the scoring with a 6-1, 6-1 decision against Johnson at No. 5.
