CARY, N.C. – Portland's Dariya Radulova dropped a 6-4, 6-2 decision to Zoie Epps of Louisiana Tech in the opening round of the ITA All-American Championships Saturday at Cary Tennis Park. Radulova, a grad transfer from Virginia Tech, made her Pilot debut at the exclusive national tournament which features the top players in the country.
The Stara Bulgaria native will conclude the event with a consolation match Sunday against Clemson's Candela Yecora at 8:30 a.m. (PT).

The ITA All-American Championships is one of the primary events that qualifies individuals for the NCAA Championships with participants competing for ten qualifying spots – eight main draw quarterfinalists and two feed-in consolation finalists. The Pre-Qualifying Draw has three rounds played over the first two days. The Qualifying Draw (Sept. 22-23) requires two more victories for entry into the 64-player Main Draw (Sept. 24-28).
Radulova's Pilot teammates are scheduled to make their 2025 debuts next weekend at the WSU Invitational in Pullman, Wash.
