CARY, N.C. – Portland grad transfer Dariya Radulova will take part in the prestigious ITA All-American Championships which begins on Saturday at Cary Tennis Park. She will face Zoie Epps (Louisiana Tech) in the Pre-Qualifying Draw opening round on Saturday at 8 a.m. (PT).

Radulova joined the Pilots for her final collegiate season after playing three years at Virginia Tech. The Stara Zagora, Bulgaria native played at the top three positions of the singles lineup throughout her tenure with the Hokies. She was the top player for her age group in Bulgaria throughout her entire junior career and reached as high as No. 257 in the ITF Junior World Rankings.
The ITA All-American Championships is one of the primary events that qualifies individuals for the NCAA Championships. There are 160 total singles participants that will compete for ten qualifying spots – eight main draw quarterfinalists and two feed-in consolation finalists. The Pre-Qualifying Draw has three rounds played over the first two days. The Qualifying Draw (Sept. 22-23) requires two more victories for entry into the 64-player Main Draw (Sept. 24-28).
