LAKEWOOD, Wash.  – Portland Pilots Rowing is back in action this weekend with races up in Lakewood, Wash. at American Lake. The Pilots – who have two varsity eight boats and two varsity four boats – will race this Saturday, March 14, with races beginning at 9 a.m.
 
The Pilots are coming off a strong weekend that saw the third varsity eight earn the first win of the season for any Pilot boat at the Sacramento State Invitational. The third varsity eight earned a repeat victory after taking first last year at the Sac State Invite. All varsity eight boats took third or better while the varsity four took fourth.
