LOWELL, Ore. - The Portland Pilots competed at the Dexter Lake Invite hosted by Oregon State on Saturday. The Pilots took part in five races against the Beavers along with Gonzaga, Santa Clara and Seattle U.  

The Pilots' varsity eight team came in fourth place with a time of 7:24.23. Coxswained by Leahbelle Paladino with Julia Kiplinger as the stroke, Portland beat out Seattle U and was behind Santa Clara by less than two seconds.

Portland's second varsity eight finished in 7:25.30 to take third place ahead of Santa Clara and Seattle U. The boat was coxswained by Natalie Petty with Averie Zealley as the stroke. 

The third varsity eight team took third, coxswained by Helena Tran and Sofia Meyer as stroke. They finished with a time of 7:52.94. The varsity four and second varsity four boats finished with times of 8:18.70 and 8:08.83, respectively. The varsity four team was coxswained by Bella Valenzuela and Molly Manfred as the stroke. The second varsity four had Reegan Gardiner as their coxswain and Megan Eckels as their stroke.
