This marks the third National All-Academic Award in a row for Fauble.
"I couldn't be prouder of Scott and Reid," said head coach Rob Conner. "Not only are they leaders athletically but in the classroom as well. They are both All American athletes and Academic All Americans as well. They have put in a lot of work to achieve on both fronts."
Fauble has a 3.90 GPA and is working towards a master's degree in education, while Buchanan earned a 3.37 in his electrical engineering major. Both men earned All-American status last season as Fauble's 12
th place finish and Buchanan's 26
th place finish helped the Pilots to a first ever podium spot at the NCAA National Championship race last November.
This record setting team not only got it done on the course, but also in the classroom. The team earned a cumulative GPA of 3.26, which not only puts them among the top in the nation, but they made the fourth best GPA of teams that finished in the top 20 at Nationals.
