SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The University of Portland women’s tennis team lost its second match of the West Coast Conference Championships at the Barnes Tennis Center, 4-1 to Loyola Marymount.
Sophomore Valeska Hoath was the only Pilot to pick up a victory against the Lions, by taking her match from Estelle La Porte in straight sets.
The Pilots wrap up the WCC Championships tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. against Northwest rival Gonzaga.
