Pilots Conclude Homestand against Montana State
 
PORTLAND, Ore. –- Two Portland Pilots women’s tennis players look to join senior Valeska Hoath with at least five singles wins of the season on Friday, as the Pilots host the Montana State Bobcats at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center.
 
Portland (3-3) and the Bobcats (2-0) will play at 1 p.m.
 
Hoath has won three straight matches, earning a start at the fourth position last Sunday against UC Davis, while fellow senior Sabine Fuchs has posted a 4-2 record from the second spot to help the Pilots to a .500 record after six matches. Two of this year’s three losses have come against currently ranked opponents.
 
The deep group of freshman has also flashed talent early in the season. Maja Mladenovic has a 3-3 record from the top spot, while Saroop Dhatt has four wins in the third spot. Tori Troesch, meanwhile, also has three wins, including a 2-0 mark when playing as from the fourth singles position.
