Portland
defeated cross-town rival Portland State last Wednesday to snap a nine-game road losing streak and three-game overall losing streak to the Vikings. The Pilots then
knocked off UC Davis on Saturday to match the program's third best start in program history.
Graduate transfer Isaiah White was named the
WCC Player of the Week after averaging 22.0 points and 5.5 assists per game in the two wins.
The Pilots will return to the Chiles Center for a doubleheader on Sunday with the women hosting Loyola Chicago at 2 p.m. followed by the men vs. Incarnate Word at 5 p.m.
