SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Portland Pilots Rowing is back in action for the 2024 spring season, competing at the Sacramento State Invite in Gold River, Calif. at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center.
 
This is the first competition of the year for the Pilots, with the first race being the varsity four race at 8:30 a.m. The second varsity eight will race after that at 8:50 a.m,, followed by the first varsity eight at 9:10 a.m. The final race will be the novice eight, which will take place at 9:40 a.m.
 
The Pilots were picked to finish third in the WCC this season, their highest preseason poll ranking since 2015. Mia Kilmister and Veronica Conklin were picked to the All-WCC Preseason Team for the first time for both rowers.
